If you want to try something new, go to the Matakana Village Farmers Market, which is in the historic Matakana Village, north of Auckland, and is a really cute village with European vibes. It is a perfect place for those who love to try new foods, get fresh fruits and vegetables, and buy home-made products. It provides a relaxed atmosphere for walking around and looking at what is on offer.
The Matakana Village Farmers' Market is a true foodie's paradise with a focus on fresh, sustainable, and local artisan goods and a great place to shop locally on the Matakana Coast.
Bring your baskets or bags and load up on fresh vegetables, flowers, breads, deli delicacies, arts and crafts, and specialties from around New Zealand. There is a wide variety of food to try, including mouth-watering brunch dishes and award-winning coffee.
The market runs every Saturday from 8am until 1pm, rain or shine, year-round!
