NUTRIENT VALUE : Celery leaves are excellent source of vitamin C and fibre. very good source of folic acid, potassium, and vitamins B1 and B6. Seeds are rich in dietary minerals. Celery seeds have a high content of omega-6 fatty acids.
CULINERY AND OTHER VALUES : The dried celery fruits are used as spice. Leaves and stalks are used in salads and soups. Also widely used in meat seasonings, flavoring beverages, ice creams and baked products.
